Father, the one who is in heaven and who gave the Holy Spirit to us,
Tonight I'm tired.
Depleted of emotional strength or energy.
Worn out, exhausted on the insides.
Processing like a madwoman.
Slow down my thinking tonight.
Let me rest in silent slumber.
Settle my insides and quiet my mind.
Fill me up through the night.
Please banish all nightmares and bad dreams.
Let me sleep through the night and not see 4:13am like my norm.
We wait on you.
Because we know that those who wait on you will renew their strength.
So renew us as we rest.
We love you.
