A bonus post because I can, and because the writing is flooding out of me tonight. This prayer is dedicated to my Grandpa Chell, a man who loves God and his family a lot!
Holy God,
Grant us peace this night,
Oh loving God of light.
Rest our hearts sealed in your guiding grace,
till heaven meets earth in one breath-taking space.
Drive out our fears,
and call us your dears.
May the rhythms of sleep
come to us quickly and deep.
We rest in your unfailing care
no matter what seas we have yet to fair.
Grant us peace this night,
Oh loving God of light.
Amen.
